This blog is about the ups and downs to the unit we have learned and the positive, negatives and just our honest opinion on why we like dislike etc. but First question was “If I learned nothing new, was it because I knew it all before? Where did I know it from” and I answered that I knew half the stuff we talked about in class by watching television shows on (Nickelodeon discovery etc.) The shows that teach you something educational and basically just telling us how the world we the people need to change our habits in how we use are electricity better and save our energy and lower the bills. The next question was “If I already knew all this, how did that knowledge affect my actions? Why?” I answered, I knew this because I thought myself and by going over friend’s houses who save energy etc. and learned from that and try to tell my family that this is a way that we can lower the bill and be less stressful on you and having to worry about the water or electric itself being so high. But so far I learned that Electricity really runs the world in a way. The next question that the paper asked me was. “Did this unit give me a different perspective? Or was it more the same? Would you share your information with friends and family members? Other people? And I answered, Yes I would give info and helped and tell people it’s very important to save because I did not know that it can make a big difference in the environment and save a lot of energy and this could be a big thing in the future if we can keep going and spread the word and I’ve already told my mom before but she didn’t listen at first until everything started to raise up so now she starting to unplug everything and making sure things are off that aren’t supposed to be . And the last question asked “How would you change/add/subtract from this unit to make it better? What did you like (if anything) what did you dislike (if anything). Why? So I answered as honest as possible that I would add more fun projects. Less homework, because everyone can’t do them because parents being at work. But other than that I would not change a thing because there really wasn’t anything. And for liking and disliking I had no choice because I had to do the work regardless like it or not and I guess I learned something from it so I really can’t complain about anything. I had fun and learned a lot and got a lot from this unit alone.

Climate Change

The Basic idea of the topic is the climate change and how its affecting the world and how i guess the united states is to blame for because of the green house gases and other thins that have a toll on the world an can change the weather destroying our food supply and etc.

The Articles compare in a way about weather but that's just about it, but the different about the articles were one talk about food crops. and the other article talks about how the weather is destroying people,homes,,community etc

yes the sources seen very reliable the facts seem on point and about right and they have back up from actual weather and other things that back the article up.

yes. both do present facts and detail the other stating facts but also opinion. and i believe the second article i read made more sense gave detail alot more facts  and it grabbed my attention more.

The first article had one,two things but nothing really to bad as far as opinions go.and they had a couple of back up sources.

Things that were interesting is 19 nation were experiencing unusually high temps, including 53.5 degrees celsius, Pakistan, hottest ever in asia. Russia suffered it's hottest year in 1,000 years in history

The articles have a  little impact, but i would like to take action but i'm not the only one that can't do anything so why try

PSA's

What i thought about the PSA's is that they were all good had creativity neatness and good thought put in all the PSA's.. but there were only two that stood out the most and it was my group and  sydni's group because it was well planned everything working correctly and the thought and effort we put into it like matching the music with what was going on in the PSA and having detail that could give people an idea about what should change and why..but overall everyone did well and this was a learning experiment

A) My Reaction to this video was in confusion and in shock and i really think the people who made it and did the info kind of took it over bored and went to far with everything that goes on in the world... but at the same time it made me feel that it could be true and we could do something to lower that but at the same time if thats what it takes to make a product or take care of anything we do what we have to do.

Introducing myself

Hello, my name is Jeremy Walls i am 16 in the 11th grade and i attend Gahanna Lincoln high school I’ve been in Gahanna since 5^th grade I went to Gahanna middle school south it’s been cool here not much going on but sports and school my favorite subject is Math and anything that I feel that enjoyable and easy to me will be my favorite. I was born February 14th 1995 in Columbus, Ohio in Riverside Hospital (Eastside) I have moved 3 maybe 4 times and went to 3 different elementary schools and missed them all but not the areas. I have a sister named Jazmyn and my mom Angela and my stepdad John; I’m soon to be a uncle. But there is really nothing more to tell that I’m quiet and can be outgoing sometimes I have my days. I’m really cool if you get to know me I have many friends that go to many other schools and here. i play football and run track i love food, candy and I went to Disney world when I was super little I only remember a couple of things I don’t know if anything changed though etc.... i can get irritated easily I can be a little down sometimes but soon overcome by joy and that’s really about it i hope that i enjoy your class and pass and learn something that I didn’t learn from my teacher last year that didn’t teach anything and was mean and made me mad everyday other than that….IM ME.

so far in english class we been reading this book about a guy named orson welles guess the man like shakespear but really care but the book is pretty good and how the writer ties in all the different types of examples om others books and how it just flows together but other than that really  nothing major just a regular book

Well another sunday doing a blog and I don't know what its about so guess ill talk aout how shakespears the and how good julius caesar was and talk about how no one like cassius and how all the consiprators deserverd to killing a that just wanted to give back to the romans. but other than that we finished the book and every part tommy had was short or his person died... so yeah see you next saturday or sunday

HOOPS

Dear Reader,

            The story I’m reading is called Hoops. It’s about a kid named Lonnie who is just now turning 17 and just finished school and is trying to figure out how he going to get to college. And one day he meets a wino that eventually changes his life and he’s not actually a wino he’s a former NBA basketball player who got trouble for a gambling situation and got kicked out of the League. Now the relationship between Lonnie and the “wino” cal is goes from poor to great in the matter of months and the bond they had no one could beat…an as time progressed they had a father son type relationship and they could talk about anything and do anything together and have each others back and basically Cal just made Lonnie a better person and basketball player and basically that’s the moral of the story.

Dear Family Friends and loved ones,

       We are here today to show respect for the Great Friend. Cal was a Great man with bad habits and everyone has one knew it but just didnt bother to help him. He tryed hes best to get help and work everything out on his own but seem that didnt work because he was a former NBA player turn wino in a matter of a year.. but he also was a great role model i know it sounds crazy but he helped me out with alot of my problems he was like a father and a bestfriend to me, their would be nothing more that i could ask for except for him being an excellent coach and thats in its own category he taught me eveything twice as better as i tried to on my own, but he showed me all these great moves how to play better defense and just be the best ball player i could be and i did just that and before he died that night he died i told him this for you an all the things we been threw and as we went on that night we won 93-92 or something like that,but as i said before Coach Cal was a good man probably be a good father and good husband and their is nothing much you or i could ask for... -Lonnie

acheievements

well one of my greatest acheievements i have had is playing sports and getting active because i was so scared until i eventually go oder and understand what and why sports are greatand what they can do to you... and the first sport that caught my eye was football and i wanted to be like them making big plays winning games and just dreaming big and making it to the next level and form then on ive just been a work in progress and just been working hard and only getting better

Narry's short story Dream

One day in the modern year of the 1300's. young man named Narry scotter, who lives in a place called potterville, where there two sides "little town" and "revenge town". as you can tell which one is good or bad. he has two friends named alfalfa and lizz they do nothing together as i get into the story. but other than that he lives with his Aunt and Uncle Bird. so the day starts off with Narry in english class there doing a short story unit. him and his friends come up with great ideas.

Narry: alfalfa and lizz what are some good names for my story?
Alfalfa: The block "o"
lizz: No. Thats lame, how about... The princess frogs
alfalfa: cut the games lizz, he's trying to get an A not an F
lizz: shut up that's why I'm passing and your not (taunting)
(both argue)
The Teacher:Okay! Okay!(they keep going)
(pulls out the magic wand) OC.(both get put on mute)
The Teacher: Now whats the problem Narry?(ask the teeacher)
Narry: Well I'm trying to think of a name for my story?
The Teacher:How about... The Giant and The Princess?
Narry: That's great!
Big boy brown: that's horrible!!! pick a story like mine.
The Teacher: And what would that be?
Big BoyBrown: Burgers and Fries, one heck of a story
Narry: sounds like one "Big Story"
Big Boy Brown:(angry) after school(silent voice were the teacher couldnt hear him)
Narry: Dont you get tired of bullying me?
Big Boy Brown: No.But your the biggest chump in the school so...why not?(bell rings end of the day)
(narry runs out the class to his broom.By the time Big Boy brown came narry was gone.)
(narry all by himself crying thinking when will this ever stop?)
(narry goes home and straight to his room)
Aunt/Uncle bird: Hey narry come and eat?
Narry: (sad voice) Not hungry
Aunt bird: go talk to him fly
Uncle bird:"will do marry"
(uncle bird goes to narry's room and knocks on the the door)
Narry: Yes?
Uncle bird: can i come in?
Narry: sure
Uncle bird: whats wrong?
Narry: This bully named big boy brown(gets interrupted)
Uncle bird: welp cant help you with that good luck (leaves room)
(Narry is now upset, but then he remembers alfalfa telling him about a place called revenge town. so narry opens the window and flys out).
uncle bird:(opens door) now nar...you'll figure something out.
(As narry was riding he made eye contact with big boy brown).
Big boy brown: you come here now!
Narry:(screams) No!
(Big boy brown gets on his brrom and chases narry, but narrry found a way to escape and was hiding in between an alley and big boy brown rides right by. As narry comes out the alley he sees the store alfalfa was talking to him about "revenge town")
(Narry opes the door)
Stranger: Hey!!!
(Narry gets scared, Knocks things over)
Stanger: woah little buddie im not going to hurt you. so what are you hear for.
Narry:well i keep getting bullyed... And i wanna end it all.
Stranger: weel how long?
Narry: since i was born> he took my toys, juice ,etc.
Stanger: hmmm, i have the perfect solution< you said end it all(searching)
Stanger: Ahhh. Here we go blank potion. let me see your wand?
(Narry gives the stranger the wand and he dips it in the potion)
Stranger: BE CAREFUL with this> when you see your bully say block"o"
Narry: Okay
Stanger: that will do the trick and end your problem.
(Later on that day he sees big boy brown he has one time to get this right. Narry pulls his wand out and say the word block"o" aims it at big boy brown)
Narry: Yess. Peyton manning aim
(as the potion works he kept disappering and finally gone).
(narry goes to school the next day and sees big boy browns parents mother is crying and father angry)
The Teacher: Narry! do you know what happend to big boy brown after school yesterday?
Narry: No, I went straight home after school.
The Teacher Okay. Well im sorry Mr and Mrs Brown there nothing more i can do.
(Browns leave. Narry walks up to the Teacher).
Narry: I have a question?
The Teacher: Yes. What is it?
Narry: well... what would happen if your in a situation and you got bullied and got tired so you made them dissapear?
The Teacher: well thinking about the consequenses and figure out how to get him back.
Narry: okay (laughing sacasticly)
(narry leaves and flys back to "Revenge town"
stranger: Hey nice to see you again? More problems?
Narry:Yeah my life I want big boy brown back?
Stanger :hmm are you sure?
Narry: (yelling) yes im sure!!
Stranger: okay. okay, well let me see(searching for potion) ahh let me see your wand ( dips it in a unknown poiton)
Naryy: what is it?
Stranger: The visible Block"o" potion
Narry:Thank you
Stanger: welcome.... ohh and instead of saying block "o" you say "o" block
Narry" thank you again
(narry tries the potion does everything right... nothing so the next day at school narry's in shock)

Narry: your back
Big Boy Brown: I never was gone..you were sleep
Narry:(wow) thats my story
Alfalfa and lizz: yeah you were talkiong in your sleep about "revenge town" or something and wanting someone back.

The Teacher: I know everything that happend I was there all along.

movies

i like alot of movies because there really nothing on tv and second chocie to that is a movie...but anywho i like action/adventure fantasy and horror and gangster type movies because keeps me thinking and entertained about if that happened to me..but my favorite movie of all time is Home Alone..because it showed me that kids can do anything just as good as an adult can to protect themselves..other than that i just have a long list of movies that are great to me

make-up blog

well im late on my blog my weekend has been busy..so i aplolgizes just cant miss anymore. but anywho there nothing really much going on in english but the quiz we had to take home and finish..im just hoping that this unit were doing next is easy because i really dont feel like reading and thinking about something that probably wont happen...so yeah i hope this blog counts for something

well im doing my blog ealry because i wanted to get some pressure of and get a good grade in all my classes... but anywho dont know foresure what the topic is today.. but i guess ill just talk about what er are doing in english class.... well friday we played a silly game about who could survive the longest of course my team dies third to last but its whatever i know what i would do in that situation..but other than that i have to read this short story about i dont even know...but im going to read it after im done with this blogg. so yeah thats the update so far nothing to major to really talk about..so adios amigos

well im back i gotta step it up this semester i mmissed to many bloggs just from forgetting or bein lazy but im not going to anymore. but anywho  english has been gettin more fun learning commas semicolens etc if thats how you spell it but other than that im really suppose to be makin a blogg about a cartoon but theres so many to choose from but my favorite cartoon is courage the cawardly dog best show to be invented but nothin beats the old nickoloden shows just cant do it but i really cant argue because everyone in my class basically likes every cartoon i like. but im done with my first blog of the semester now its time to get serious than before grades are very important
